AnnaLesa was born in Wrigleyville, the most culturally significant neighborhood in Chicago, IL.
While the 26-hour labor should have been a tipoff that she had a flare for the dramatic, it wasn't until she treated her parents to a performance of every single song from the two-disc soundtrack to Evita that they thought to enroll her in Broadway Babies class (she believes her handle on the Latin funeral chants was what really sold them).

After a childhood spent acting, singing, and dancing (in addition to a notable stint directing staged versions of the Dixie Chicks' song "Goodbye Earl" for her 7th-11th birthday parties), AnnaLesa moved to Los Angeles to increase her Vitamin D intake.

She recently graduated from UCLA's Ray Bolger Musical Theater program and has been seen since in various stage and film productions (see RESUME tab).
